I love photography!
Yes, I do!
But it's cost me alot considering it's just a hobby at the moment.
D300 body only: $2033
10-20mm lens: $575
24-85mm lens: $555
50mm f1.2 lens: $530
Craziness!!!
And I still want a flash!
SB-800: $450
And that's if I'm lucky and can find it. Otherwise, it's gonna be $500 or so man. *sigh*
Well, I hope the other 2 older lenses that I'm selling can fetch me a price that I might offset a teeny weeny bit of the cost. Also, I'm hoping to get a 70-300 or maybe the much more expensive 70-200 f2.8, and with these, I guess I'm quite prepared for events. But meanwhile, I need to go to those free shows to hone my skills first. Then maybe I might be able to make some moola outta this hobby, which will be great!
Still a dream now...
Anyways, went out for a half day photography session with Joanna and Doris today. Our theme is black & white, and old shophouses. However, I think I don't really know how to shoot old buildings... or new buildings too, for that matter. I'm more into landscape I guess... and alot more into macro. But well, these tastes take time. I need to get out and shoot more!
Today's photos have been made into a mini-slideshow accessible through the link (assuming you already know where). I say mini because out of 252 photos that I didn't delete (meaning I actually took more photos than 252), I only chose 28 better ones to show off. *sigh* That's like... 10% only, considering those that I deleted.
I need a higher hit rate!!!
Wishing you were here somehow... =(
