Camps Rock!

It seemed like a super long time since I last blogged... but it's actually only 9 days... or something like that.

Meanwhile, I went down to the Youth Camp last weekend: Thursday night and Friday night. It was great! I stayed over Friday night coz I thought it was traditional to not sleep, so that means a whole night of interaction. =) And that's what I did! Got to know some of the youths better, got to talk and play with the younger young adults, got to show off my super power torch, but I kept my LASER pointer from sight. Haha! It's a dangerous toy for kids their age...

Met up with Jun on Saturday coz her place got "infested" with bed bugs and she was feeling sad... poor thing. Wanted to cut hair but ended up sitting in Mac's and talking for quite awhile before actually going to the salon. $4.80 only! Hahaha! Recommended by Patrick! Yeah! I'm gonna be visiting there more often man... at this rate, I get to save even more money!

Anyways, it was nice meeting up and talking with Jun. Really missed her, especially since after October, when I felt we got significantly closer coz I would confide in her. Right, Jun? =)

Today, I went to the post office to collect a parcel. I had to go collect because it was a bulky item delivered on Friday when no one was home. Obviously by the time I got home on Saturday, the post office was closed so I couldn't collect it on Saturday. But today, at last, I ripped it open the moment I stepped out the post office! Took out the brown paper on top to see my precious gem all wrapped up in bubble wrap. Yay! So excited! I quickly put everything back in and brisk-walked home so I could test this baby out.

Came home, took out the paper again, almost tore open the bubble wrap (but I forced myself to open it carefully so it can be used again) to reveal an EX condition Nikkor 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 that looks more like LN condition! If EX is like that, I bet I wouldn't mind the BGN conditions man... Hence, I'm gonna be shopping more on KEH. Haha!

K, to put it in layman terms, I got a "new" lens for the telephoto end of photography. This lens will let me zoom in on faraway objects. So for me, 3 lenses will give me 30x optical zoom. At a price of course. I'll still love my Lumix FZ20... but it's with Simin now. =) Hope she's loving it. Haha!

Oh oh, yesterday (Sunday) I was at Tiong Bahru Plaza with Zhenhao helping to man a booth for Hope Foundation. When we were packing up near 9pm, Zhenhao saw a friend who wouldn't usually be found at Tiong Bahru, and they talked abit, and I heard that he was waiting for his girlfriend. So I continued packing the stuff whilst he talked. After abit, his girlfriend came, guess who? It was Bernice's sister, Lidia! SO 巧！So COOL!!! It really is a tiny world... =)
